Nine DVD players have been tested for the new issue of German magazine "Stiftung Warentest" (07/2008). The Xoro HSD 8420 is the cheapest of all and gets the verdict "good".

Concerning the picture quality, the Xoro player is the best device in the whole range. Even the much more expensive test winner is not able to beat Xoro's outstanding picture.
Also very good: the sound (mark: 1,1) and the silence of the device (best possible mark 1,0).
